About Rachel
I am a Minnesota girl! I love going on hikes and rock climbing. You can also find me reading a book in a hammock on a sunny day. I also love to watch movies, I always stay caught up in the Marvel Universe. And most importantly, I love meeting new people and getting to know others. I value patience and compassion towards everyone that I work with.

My lessons are focused on fun! I want to make our reading lessons be geared towards topics that you are interested in. I want to have you so engaged you don't even notice that you are learning:)
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, with a bachelors in K-9 education. My training was largely focused on teaching K-5 students how to read and write. My understanding of reading comes from my training to complete the Foundations of Reading (FoRT 150 exam). Along with 3 years of hands on experience with teaching young minds how to read!
