About Emily
This year I have helped to run writing workshops for GCSE and A-Level students at Fitzalan High School, as well as providing revision sessions that help to acclimatise students to exam conditions and time pressures. Whilst at university I mentored a group of first-year students on English Critical Theory. I have taught students aged 12-19, in groups that have ranged from two to fifteen. I have experience in catering to a wide range of abilities; helping students predicted an E to receive their crucial C grade in GSCE English, to helping Sixth Form students secure their conditional offers from Russel Group universities.

I am an English Literature graduate with two years of experience at mentoring students at high school and undergraduate level. I am a patient and positive teacher, who works at the student's pace and to their specific individual requirements. I am familiar with the GSCE and A-Level syllabus for History and English, with experience in teaching to the WJEC and AQA specifications.
