About Lydia
I am a second year languages student studying Spanish and Arabic at Exeter University. I have been learning Spanish for nearly 15 years, but I am looking to help someone else improve their language abilities! I was a peer tutor for two more advanced year 7 students whilst doing my A Levels which I really enjoyed.

Over the years, I have found that the best way to learn a language is by immersing yourself in it, therefore we would be speaking Spanish as much as possible in our lessons. I also believe that there are many interactive activities which can make learning languages more accessible and help to improve oral skills and grammar. There are many aspects to learning a new language and it is important to spend more time improving the aspects which do not come as easily, whether oral, speaking, reading or writing. At university, I am learning Arabic ad inicio which is helping me to appreciate the challenges of learning a new language.
