About Uzma
I am a friendly tutor, who wants lessons to be something students look forward to. I understand that not everyone learns in the same way, and so tailor my lessons to each individual child.
I understand that sometimes it is difficult to ask something, but my classes are a safe and open space for individuals to ask for help and thrive.
Lessons can be centred around helping with homework, understanding what has been taught in schools or with learning new material to stay ahead.

I adopt a friendly, fun and safe space for learning, where no question is a silly question. I believe that the best way to learn is from a hands-on approach, where we are able to make mistakes to get better from.
Each lesson is a minimum of 90 minutes, so that students can get the most out of each session.
I am a working professional and have also got an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and a master's in Computer Science. I have also been working as a tutor for the last 10+ years, with students from a range of ages (from KS1 to A Levels). I can also cover a range of subjects, which are listed below:
Mathematics: KS1 - A Level

English: KS1 - GCSE
History: KS1 - A Level
