About Preems
Hello! I'm Preema Manoj, a passionate and dedicated educator with over 23 years of teaching experience, committed to nurturing academic excellence and holistic student development. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching students from diverse academic backgrounds, helping them achieve not only outstanding academic results but also confidence, discipline, and lifelong learning skills.
I am currently serving as a Coordinator at iKids International School, Middle East, where I contribute to academic planning, student development initiatives, and educational coordination while continuing to mentor and guide students. This role has further strengthened my leadership, organizational, and educational management skills.
I specialize in teaching students across CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, IB, and State Board curricula, offering personalized one-to-one online classes tailored to each learner's unique academic needs and learning style.
My educational background includes a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Biotechnology from Bharathiar University, along with a Fellowship from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, where I was involved in cancer biology research. To continuously enhance my teaching practice, I have completed professional certifications in Psychology, Child Skill Development, Social and Emotional Learning (CASEL, USA), Neurodiversity (Cambridge English), AI in Education (Pearson), Classroom Management, Strategic Planning, and Generative AI.
Over the years, I have taught students from India, the UAE, Canada, and other international locations, adapting my teaching methods to suit different curricula, academic standards, and individual learning needs.
My teaching philosophy extends beyond completing the syllabus. I believe every child has the potential to succeed when provided with the right guidance, encouragement, and learning strategies. My classes focus on concept clarity, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication skills, confidence building, effective study habits, and independent learning, enabling students to become self-motivated learners rather than relying on rote memorization.
In addition to academics, I am deeply passionate about student well-being and character development. I actively integrate elements of emotional intelligence, resilience, discipline, time management, and responsible digital habits into my teaching because I believe these life skills are just as important as academic achievement.
