About Jasmine
I often joke that my first home was a classroom. Raised by two professors, I've always enjoyed learning and teaching. As a high school lab aide I was responsible for teaching second and third grade lab.While at Spelman I worked as an elementary school teaching assistant to fourth and fifth graders as part of the UPS Scholars program.As a scholar I primarily taught math and social studies--often times employing fun and unique teaching techniques into my lessons.Since then I've worked with college students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as an academic tutor/career adviser. I believe in adaptive teaching-- one size does not fit all. I strive for progress and not perfection -- understanding that "perfection" comes from consistent progress and practice.

My name is Jasmine. I have a Bachelors of Arts in English with a concentration in International Studies from Spelman College. I also have a Juris Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin Law School. I currently work full-time as an attorney, but miss teaching. I have experience tutoring and advising students of all ages.
