About Aimee
I have a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have tutored PK-8th informally for the past 4 years, but I have also tutored formally for the past year at Beyond The Classroom tutoring center in Lake Charles, LA. I would like to move back to my home state of TX and share my talents here as well.

My teaching method has 4 steps. First, I would like to find out what subject the student needs help with the most with the help of the student, the teacher, and their parents. I may give a pre-rest on the subject content as well. Second, I would like to tackle that subject with the student in a variety of ways to see what works best for them as a trial and error. Third, I would use the teaching strategy that worked best with the student to help them learn the subject content while I progress monitor the students success. Last, I would make sure the student has mastered the subject content. I may give a post-test on the subject content as well.
