I firmly believe all students can achieve success. if we meet them at their level, provide support, the proper challenges, and guidance, everyone has the ability to reach their full potential. The key is knowing your students' abilities and guiding them rather than just telling them. Through this method, students tend to retain more and build a deeper understanding. My lessons usually begin with a question or situation for discussion. From there we begin to make meaning of the concept one step at a time connecting the steps as we go. For STAAR/EOC preparation, we will also explore test taking strategies to help you navigate through test questions.
