About Grace
I used to be a freelance artist and also studied art at university (art Foundation diploma, plus two years of animation production BA hons) but have recently decided to take a new route and go to college with the incentive of going into veterinary science. I've previously been a successful art tutor for children of 7-9 years of age, and have also had experience working in a primary school environment.

My teaching method revolves around basic drawing ability using dry media, technique and the tools used therein rather than painting or artist study. I spend each of my lessons (usually an hour) focusing on a particular technique, setting light homework between lessons as a review. I tend to watch the way my pupil works, and tailor my lesson plans to bring out their abilities where I feel they are strongest, while at the same time challenging them to try new things.
