About Emma

The transformative nature of 1:1 tutoring & teaching is compelling. There’s nothing else I’ll ever do. I firmly believe every student has the potential to succeed when they are given the right support, encouragement and opportunities to grow. My passion for tutoring comes from helping students build not only their knowledge and understanding, but also the confidence to believe in themselves and their abilities. I aim to create a supportive, engaging and patient learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and celebrating their progress. For me, teaching is about more than achieving great results; it is about inspiring a genuine love of learning, nurturing independence and helping every student reach their full potential. Seeing a student grow in confidence and realise what they are capable of is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

About the lesson

Engaging and rigorous - you’re in the right place if you need results.

I’m an assistant headteacher with 22+

A personalised and paced explanation of each question and the requirements for English language & literature (AQA)

Supporting students to get the grades they need for college

Helping pupils secure the top grades (8/9)

Supporting in securing those 4s & 5s for college!

I couldn’t recommend Emma enough to anyone looking for an English GCSE tutor, she was amazing throughout with our daughter giving her the confidence and belief in herself that she needed.

Emma was so supportive and patient but with a fun quirky twist to teaching. Emma makes a real difference and we cannot thank you enough. ️

Emma worked with my daughter from September of Year 11 right up until her exams. Not only did she get her grades up by 3 points but she also instilled self belief and confidence in my daughter. This not only helped her achieve good passes in her exams but has stayed with her now she's in college. My only regret is waiting til Year 11 instead of starting earlier
