About Kyle
Hello, I’m Kyle.
I’ve been playing piano for over 25 years and hold a Degree in Music, specialising in Piano Performance, as well as a Grade 8 Distinction. Alongside my musical training, I work professionally as a performer, giving me first-hand experience of preparing for performances, developing confidence, and continually refining my craft.
I love teaching because I believe music can have a hugely positive impact on people’s lives. Previously, I taught children in London and found it incredibly rewarding to see their confidence, creativity, and musical ability grow over time. Building those relationships was one of the most enjoyable aspects of teaching, and it’s something I continue to value highly.
My approach is patient, supportive, and tailored to each individual student. While technical development and musical understanding are important, I also aim to help students build confidence, discipline, and a genuine enjoyment of learning. I teach exclusively in person, either at my home or in the student’s home, as I believe face-to-face tuition provides the most effective and rewarding learning experience, allowing for immediate feedback and a more personal connection between teacher and student.
Whether you’re working towards exams, learning for fun, or developing advanced performance skills, my goal is to create a positive environment where students feel encouraged, challenged, and inspired to achieve their potential.

Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, whether you’re a complete beginner, preparing for exams, or looking to develop advanced performance skills.
Drawing on 25 years of playing experience, a Grade 8 Distinction, and a degree in Music specialising in Piano Performance, I offer high-quality, professional tuition in a friendly and supportive environment. My teaching combines the technical and musical standards of conservatoire-level training with an encouraging, enjoyable approach designed to build confidence and foster a genuine love of music.
Lessons are available in 30-minute, 45-minute, or 60-minute sessions and can be adapted to suit all ages and abilities.
