About Talia
I am a Biology tutor with over 4 years of experience helping students succeed in their academic journey. I hold a BSc in Animal Biology, which has strengthened my understanding of life sciences. My focus is on guiding IGCSE and A-Level Biology students towards exam success. I aim to make biology clear and structured.
I specialise in Cell Biology, Human Physiology, and Ecology. These subjects form the backbone of advanced biology. I explain them in a simple and logical way.
I use detailed diagrams to support visual learning. I also incorporate experimental analysis to develop scientific thinking. Past paper practice is central to my teaching. It helps students improve exam technique and confidence.

My teaching approach in Biology is nurturing, patient, and fully personalised to each learner. I focus on building strong foundations before moving into advanced biological concepts. I aim to make biology feel connected to the natural world. My lessons are simple, clear, and engaging.
I specialise in plant biology, including photosynthesis, plant reproduction, and plant physiology. I also include agricultural science to show real-world applications. These topics help students understand how plants support life on Earth.
I use diagrams, simple experiments, and real-life examples to explain concepts. This helps students visualise processes more easily. Learning becomes more meaningful and interactive.
I adapt my teaching to each student’s pace and goals. I encourage curiosity about plant life and ecosystems. Together, we build confidence and deep understanding in biology.
