About Joanne
My school has been my home for the last 17 years and my home has been a school - and I am very grateful for the opportunity to give back to the community that made me who I am today.
With my love of language comes a love of teaching. As a prominent figure in my school’s literature and linguistic departments, I was chosen to direct a whole process of teaching Modern Languages department. The experience was invaluable, and I was able to refine my leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
Overall, I am solidly dedicated to studies/ teaching and learning process in all my subjects( ENGLISH AND FRENCH ) especially Teaching the English Language to foreigners and I am unequivocally excited to translate this dedication and natural curiosity into further work. Through my second postgraduate diploma in Psychology, I have developed my analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as my natural curiosity to teach. I have become a balanced, open-minded teacher who is not afraid to take risks when necessary, to innovate and exploit new techniques every day in order to achieve the maximum of my daily teaching/learning aim. I am a well - rounded and hard - working teacher and I cannot wait to share my love and passion for something that has been such a core aspect of my development and will relish the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded individuals on the subject I wish to explore for the rest of my life.

I offer both 1:1 sessions and group workshops.
My tutoring sessions are tailored to suit the individual's goals and abilities.
I am an enthusiastic, outgoing and creative teacher and very passionate about teaching students of all ages and abilities - whether it be introducing you to the joy of a new language, or helping to develop your existing linguistic skills to the next level.
If your child has a learning disability, their special educational needs (SEN) can be met and assessed with extra support, in a special learning environment.
In a friendly and relaxed environment, my lessons combine the enjoyment of learning languages through film, music, play, reading, and writing, or through the newest STEM methods and techniques, based on the principles of positive reinforcement and repeated hearing.
Modern technology, quality learning materials and an impressive methodology based on current scientific facts make learning fun.
Lessons are fun and lively, and they stimulate the emotional, physical, creative and intellectual well-being of my students.
So, from very basic Language lessons to A- levels we can get through it.
Recommendations
Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the teacher
I want to say that he is a professor worthy of trade and that my boy brought from Romania who knew I did not have English in 6 months I know the English language exceptionally I strongly recommend with confidence
What qualities do good teachers possess? Can we settle on a set of qualities that all teachers should possess and can they be taught? There are a plethora of articles, commentaries, and books written on what goes into making a good teacher. I would advocate that contained in these pieces are the framework for what good teaching looks like. Joanne is my favorite one.
My experience with Joanne as a teacher was a special one .From the perspective of a parent , Joanne runs a happy class ,high achieving environment in which the pupils feel content, valued and achieve high respective standards academically and behaviorally.
Teachers like Joanne create a sense of awe and wonder to develop inquiring minds with an insatiable thirst for learning that endures.Joanne is simply the best.
She inspires and motivate her students, regardless of their ages or personal backgrounds . She's fun, joyful, trustworthy, extremely serious about her passion for teaching ....but what's more she really has got uniquely to herself is a very special touch . She touches people's brains and hearts. She's simply unique. She makes things easily and to look achievable to anyone who has met her. She's got the softness on showing in people their real potential. Learning from Joanne is a great adventure with different quests to achieve.
I would happily recommend Joanne to any student who is uncomfortable or not confident enough to show their true potential.View more recommendations
