About Hadi

I'm a professional Civil Engineer based in Glasgow, with several years of industry experience and a First-Class MEng in Civil Engineering from the University of Strathclyde.

Mathematics has always been one of my strongest subjects, having achieved A grades at National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher level. I regularly apply mathematical principles in my engineering career, giving me both a strong academic foundation and practical, real-world experience.

I also have many years of previous online tutoring experience, alongside mentoring junior colleagues and supporting students with their learning. These experiences have strengthened my ability to explain challenging concepts clearly, adapt to different learning styles and make complex topics easier to understand.

My lessons are patient, supportive and tailored to each student's individual needs, whether they're building confidence in the basics or preparing for National 5 exams.

My aim is to help students not only improve their grades, but also develop the confidence, understanding and problem-solving skills to succeed independently.

About the lesson

My Maths lessons are designed to be clear, engaging and tailored to each student's individual needs. Whether you're struggling with the basics, preparing for National 5 exams or aiming for an A, my goal is to help you build confidence and develop a stronger understanding of Mathematics.

**My Teaching Approach**

I believe Maths becomes much easier when challenging concepts are broken down into simple, manageable steps. Rather than simply memorising formulae, I help students understand how and why mathematical methods work.

My lessons combine clear explanations, step-by-step worked examples, interactive problem-solving and independent practice. I adapt my approach to each student's ability, pace and areas for improvement.

**Lesson Structure**

Lessons typically last 60 minutes, with flexibility depending on individual needs.

Each lesson generally involves:
- Identifying areas where the student needs support.
- Explaining concepts using clear, worked examples.
- Working through questions together before encouraging independent practice.
- Using SQA past papers and exam-style questions to improve exam technique.
- Reviewing progress and setting achievable goals.

**Who My Lessons Are For**

I offer personalised Maths tutoring for **S1–S3 and National 5 students** following the Scottish curriculum.

With previous online tutoring experience, a First-Class MEng in Civil Engineering
