About Andrew
I’m Andy, originally from Scotland and now based in London. I graduated from the University of Glasgow with First Class Honours in Politics and have spent over a decade working across business strategy, commercial leadership and organisational growth.
Throughout my career, I’ve helped build businesses, develop commercial strategies, negotiate partnerships and lead teams through periods of significant growth and change.
My experience spans startups, technology and service-based businesses, with a particular focus on using data, experimentation and an understanding of human behaviour to solve complex commercial challenges.
I’ve also spent much of my career coaching and developing people, which has always been one of the parts of my work I’ve enjoyed most.
I believe good business thinking starts with curiosity, asking better questions and being willing to challenge established ways of doing things.
That’s what I’d like to bring to teaching. Not simply helping people understand business theory, but encouraging them to think independently, develop their own judgement and become more confident in their abilities.

My lessons focus on understanding how businesses actually work, how decisions are made and what it takes to build and grow a successful organisation.
Drawing on over 10 years of commercial and leadership experience, I offer practical, personalised lessons covering business strategy, business analysis, negotiation, commercial planning, leadership and decision making.
Whether you’re studying business, preparing to enter the workplace, developing your career or running your own company, we’ll tailor our sessions around your goals.
I believe business is best understood through real examples, critical thinking and practical application. We’ll explore different approaches, challenge assumptions, analyse problems and work together to develop solutions.
I’m particularly interested in helping people understand the relationship between people, data and commercial outcomes, and how good decisions depend on all three.
Above all, I want you to leave each lesson with a clearer understanding of the subject and the confidence to apply what you’ve learned in the real world.
