About Natalie
Natalie Devlin is a NYC-based artist and choreographer specializing in several genres of dance. After training on the Jazz Unlimited award-winning competition team for 8 years, she continued her education and graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of the Arts BFA Dance program under the presidential scholarship of creativity. She has worked and danced with choreographers such as Neil Schwartz, Jared Jenkins, Teddy Forance, Misha Gabriel, Johanna Numata, Michael Susten, Wayne St. David, Cici Kelly, Tommie Waheed Evans, Mark Caserta, Meredith Rainey, Kyle & Dinita Clark, Sidra Bell, Shayla-Vie Jenkins, Jesse Zaritt, Katie Swords Thurman, and Kareem B. Goodwin. Choreographically, her works have won numerous top placements and standout awards at various dance competitions across the country. She wishes to continue to push her artistry and passion for many more years to come in her own professional dance career as well as her choreography. With a love of dance and passing on her knowledge, her favorite thing is to watch her students flourish into incredible dancers and even better people!

My lessons and teachings are malleable to the client. In working with many ages and abilities I curate lessons based on a few leading factors: 1: What is the goal of your dance tutoring? (aspiring dance professional? Competitive dancer looking for skill building/storytelling through movement? Strength training & Dance? New to a style I offer? Just for fun/exercise? ETC.) 2: What level of intensity do you need from me as an instructor? I tend to teach in a way of positive affirmations sandwiched with criticism to ensure that the client is happy, but is also getting valuable corrections and learning by doing. If a stricter approach is needed, that will have to be discussed prior to lessons. Most lessons (dependent on time frame) will start with an endurance-based warmup with stretching and body isolations. After discussing what is the goal of the lesson on the client end, I will let you know how the rest of the lesson will run.
