About Kriti
With over 10 years of dance experience and around 8 years of Kathak training, I am passionate about helping students develop their technique, confidence and love for dance in a supportive and encouraging environment.
My teaching style is patient, energetic and tailored to each student. I break choreography and techniques into clear, manageable steps, demonstrate movements, and work through them together at a pace that suits you. I focus on building strong foundations while also developing musicality, expression, coordination and performance confidence.
I have experience across Bollywood, Kathak, semi-classical and contemporary dance, as well as performing, choreographing and creating dance content. I also run my own performing arts brand, Alakriti Entertainment, where I create and develop dance and performance opportunities.
Lessons are generally 60 minutes, with the content adjusted according to your goals, age and experience. Whether you are learning your first dance routine, preparing for a performance, developing your technique or simply looking for a fun way to stay active, I can tailor each session to you.
My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers and adults, from complete beginners through to more experienced dancers. No previous dance experience is required — all you need is enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
My aim is for every student to leave each lesson feeling more confident, accomplished and excited to dance.

Dance has been a huge part of my life for over 10 years, and my goal is to make every lesson enjoyable, encouraging and tailored to the individual student. Whether you are completely new to dance or looking to develop your technique and confidence, I create a supportive environment where you can learn at your own pace.
My teaching approach combines technique, musicality, expression and performance. I break movements down step-by-step, demonstrate them clearly and then work through them with you until you feel comfortable. I also focus on helping students understand the why behind each movement, rather than simply memorizing choreography.
I have extensive experience in Bollywood, semi-classical and Kathak dance, with around 8 years of Kathak training and over 10 years of overall dance experience. I also have experience performing, choreographing and creating dance content, and I run my own performing arts brand, Alakriti Entertainment.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, although I can adapt the length depending on the student's age, goals and experience.
My classes are suitable for children, teenagers and adults, from complete beginners through to more experienced dancers. Whether you want to learn Bollywood choreography, improve your foundations, prepare for a performance, build confidence or simply dance for fun and fitness, I can tailor each lesson to you.
Most importantly, I want my students to leave every class feeling more confident, motivated and excited to dance!
