About Karl
My name is Karl and I trained as a lawyer and worked in the field of children and family law. Since finishing that work I continued as a teacher and have five years of onlane experience teaching both children and adults alike.
Most importantly, I enjoy what I do and that reflects in my teaching.

I have a passion for teaching which gives me the drive and energy to conduct interesting and fun lessons in an easy to understand way. I am a patient listener with the ability to adapt to your specific needs. We learn at your pace and talk about what interests you.
Typically a lesson is 25 minutes - in this time both you and I are able to truly focus on the task in hand and to absorb the lesson. Sometimes lessons which are prolonged are wasted becuase concentration and focus can wane.
I have taught adult for 20 years but have been teaching English as a foreign language for just under 5 years. In that time I have acquired considerable experience teaching exclusively online to student around the world and in particular to those in Asian countries.
I teach all levels of English from complete beginners to senior citizens. I hold management qualifications and am a trained lawyer previously so I can conduct at the highest level.
