About Kenzie
Hello! My name is Kenzie, and I am an experienced elementary educator with more than three years of classroom teaching experience and over five years of tutoring students across a variety of grade levels. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education and have additional training in literacy instruction, giving me the knowledge and skills to help students build strong academic foundations.
I am passionate about helping children develop confidence in their abilities while making learning engaging and enjoyable. Every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand each child's unique strengths, challenges, and learning style. My lessons are patient, encouraging, and personalized to help students reach their individual goals.
Whether your child needs support with reading, writing, math, homework, or test preparation, I strive to create a positive learning environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and celebrating their progress. I believe success comes from building confidence alongside academic skills, and I enjoy partnering with families to help every student grow.

I believe every child can succeed when they are given the right support, encouragement, and learning strategies. As an experienced elementary educator, I create a positive, patient, and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence.
My lessons are personalized to each student's individual needs, learning style, and academic goals. A typical session begins with a brief review of previously learned material, followed by targeted instruction on new concepts using hands-on activities, visual aids, games, and real-world examples. We then practice together before students complete independent work to reinforce their understanding. I also provide homework support, study strategies, and regular progress updates so parents can see their child's growth.
What sets me apart is my classroom experience and my ability to adapt lessons for a wide variety of learners. I understand that every child learns differently, so I use creative, evidence-based teaching strategies to keep students engaged while helping them master foundational skills. My goal is not only to improve grades but also to help students become confident, independent learners who enjoy learning.
I offer one-on-one tutoring for Kindergarten through 5th grade students in reading, phonics, writing, math, homework help, test preparation, and overall academic support.
