About Mallory
I currently work as a second-grade teacher in Tennessee. My classroom has a range of unique learners and struggles. I have the desire to teach all kids how to read and believe every student has the ability—no matter what obstacles we may encounter. I am licensed to teach Pre-K through 5th grades and have spent most of my time in first and second grade.

I strive to meet learners where they are currently at and help them build their skills and confidence in order to succeed. I have a Masters degree in education and love diverse learners. Every child has the ability to learn with the correct instruction, scaffolds and tools. I have experience with reading disabilities, Autism, ADHD and many other unique learners. Phonics and teaching students to read is my absolute passion in life.
