About Paula
I hold three university degrees from Canadian universities: a Bachelor of Arts with a major in English, a Bachelor of Arts in Education- Secondary Methods, and a Masters degree in Leadership in Learning. I am currently a full-time high school teacher by day, and I have been the Head of the English Department at my current school since 2010. I am proud to be a teacher and am a life-long learner. I am responsible and professional , and I treat others with respect for their dignity. I always strive to be the best teacher I can be.

i have 30 years experience teaching English at the high school level , and I am still enthusiastic and excited about helping others learn. During the pandemic, I refined my online teaching skills. I am knowledgeable, empathetic, and creative, as well as patient and encouraging. I believe that all students can succeed. I have worked with international students for 10 years, including students from Vietnam, Thailand, China, Germany, France, Sweden, Italy, and Mexico. I am fascinated by other cultures. I am confident that I can help motivate and encourage students to learn. I can teach basic skills or complex competencies. My lessons are engaging and customized for each student.
