About Heather
I love working with students one-on-one and enjoy when they feel confident about what they know. During times of learning frustration, I listen to students and try to find another way of helping students understand. It is very rewarding when students make the learning connections.

I received my Masters of Adult Education specializing in reading and English in 2002. My passion for teaching in this field continues to grow. A general example lesson plan would be looking at the assignment, assessing what the students know, and then asking questions to help them complete the assignment. I would adjust according to the individual learner. I work with students from elementary to post secondary.
