About Nokutenda
Hi! I’m Shanine, and I am a language enthusiast who believes that English is the key to opening doors globally. I want to teach because I love seeing the 'lightbulb moment' when a student finally masters a difficult concept. I believe that mastering English requires a balance of technical accuracy and creative expression. My classes are highly interactive, moving away from "lecture-style" teaching to a student-centered approach where the student does most of the talking.
Teaching Style: I use the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) method, focusing on real-life usage rather than just rote memorization.
Materials: I provide custom-made worksheets, curated news articles to improve reading comprehension, and interactive digital tools (like Quizziz or Miro).
How Students Improve: By attending my classes, students build a stronger vocabulary foundation and the confidence to speak and write without the fear of making mistakes.
