Hi, I'm Melanie and I have been a qualified English teacher for 9 years working in Secondary Education in Scotland. I would consider myself to be a calm, easy-going person who likes to build relationships with my pupils and foster a nurturing environment for all. I like to create a calm, nurturing environment in my lessons. I take a chunked down, methodical approach to teaching, breaking down each element and offering encouragement and support as students work through their tasks. It is important to me that students feel safe and heard when working with me, that they feel they can approach me with any concerns or enquiries.
