About Taoffy

Does your child

Hello! I'm Tutor Taoffy. A passionate, patient, and certified teacher with over five years of experience teaching children in both physical and online classrooms. I hold a Bachelor's degree in English Education and believe that every child can thrive when learning is tailored to their needs.

My lessons go beyond simply teaching English. I help children become confident readers, thoughtful writers, and independent learners. From phonics and reading fluency to comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, and 11+ exam preparation, I break down challenging concepts into manageable, engaging steps.

Every child learns differently, so I personalise my lessons to your child's ability, learning gaps, and academic goals. With structured practice, interactive activities, and supportive feedback, I help learners build skills, make progress, and approach assessments with greater confidence.

Let's turn your child's learning challenges into achievements and make learning a more enjoyable experience.

I charge £6/#10,000 per hr

About the lesson

Helping Children Excel in English, Reading and 11+ Preparation

Does your child need support with reading fluency, comprehension, writing, or preparing for the 11+ entrance examinations? My lessons target specific learning gaps and build the skills children need to approach English tasks with confidence.

I teach phonics, reading fluency, vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, and written expression. For 11+ preparation, I support learners with comprehension passages, vocabulary in context, inference, author's purpose, and evidence-based answers, alongside relevant English exam practice.

My lessons are interactive, structured, and tailored to each learner's ability and goals. I use guided practice, targeted exercises, and regular feedback to strengthen understanding, improve accuracy, and develop independent learning skills.

Whether your child needs help catching up, consolidating school learning, or preparing for competitive entrance examinations, I focus on meaningful progress and helping learners perform to the best of their ability.
