About Aeron
Although originally a native of Somerset, I spent the majority of my formative years growing up in West Cornwall.
I first picked up the electric guitar at an early age but soon became enamored with the music of Francisco Tárrega, Isaac Albeniz & Heitor Villa Lobos and consequently started studying the classical guitar thereafter.

In short, if it's to do with guitar, composition, or music theory, then I can teach it!
I have played extensively in both Classical & Electric styles and am comfortable teaching all levels of players from people who have never played a note of music to those wishing to complete more advanced music qualifications.
When studying at the University of St. Andrews, I was lucky enough to study one-to-one with Matthew McAllister from the Royal Conservatoire, Glasgow and I have since attended several master classes with world-class performers such as Andrei Dieci and Pablo Rodriguez.
I made my solo concert debut at Hellys International Guitar Festival in 2019 and have continued performing since.
I also have a great interest in music theory and arrangement. I am a published artist with Bergmann Edition who have so far released my arrangement of the Bach-Gounod 'Ave Maria' for guitar and violin with more arrangements scheduled for release. I also have some solo compositions due to be published.
It was in 2015 that I began taking on guitar students privately and have taught players of all ages. I aim to translate my passion for music into concise, coherent and rewarding lessons so that at the end of each lesson the student can take away a new concept or skill to work with.
