About Courtney
Hi, I’m Courtney! I’m a former classroom teacher with two years of professional teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Neuroscience from Columbia University. These days, I work in marketing, but I’ve never lost my love for helping kids learn and grow. I tutor children ages 4–12 in English grammar, spelling, and writing, combining the patience and structure of a trained educator with a warm, encouraging approach. I believe learning should feel fun and confidence-building, and I tailor each session to your child’s unique needs—whether we’re working through current homework or building foundational skills. Skill-Building & Enrichment (10–15 min): Focused exercises on grammar, writing, or reading comprehension to strengthen areas beyond the homework.
