About
I am a fully bilingual French and English instructor with over 15 years of teaching and tutoring experience. Throughout that time, I have worked with students at a wide range of levels, from complete beginners to more advanced learners looking to improve their fluency, accuracy, and confidence.
My background extends beyond language instruction. I have extensive professional and academic experience in legal, government, and university settings, where strong communication, writing, research, and attention to detail are essential. This allows me to bring a highly structured and practical approach to teaching French, while still keeping lessons approachable and engaging.
I am particularly skilled at breaking down difficult concepts, identifying areas where students need additional support, and adapting lessons to different learning styles and goals. Whether a student is working toward stronger academic performance, improving conversational French, preparing for an exam, or developing French for professional use, I focus on measurable progress and long-term confidence.
I am patient, organized, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping my students succeed. My goal is not simply to help students complete an assignment or memorize vocabulary, but to help them develop a stronger understanding of the language and become increasingly comfortable using French independently.

My lessons are personalized to each student’s level, goals, and learning style. Whether you are looking to improve your speaking, grammar, writing, pronunciation, or overall confidence in French, I will tailor each session to focus on the areas where you need the most support.
I work with teens and adults at different levels, from beginners building a strong foundation to more advanced students looking to strengthen their fluency and accuracy. Lessons can include conversation practice, grammar and vocabulary, reading and writing exercises, school support, test preparation, and practical French for everyday or professional situations.
With over 15 years of experience teaching and tutoring French, I understand that every student learns differently. My goal is to create lessons that are structured and productive, while still being comfortable, encouraging, and engaging. I also provide clear explanations in English when needed, making difficult concepts easier to understand before applying them in French.
Most importantly, I want students to leave each lesson feeling more confident and capable than when they started.
