About Raywa
Hello, my name is Raywa. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and currently work as a Full-Stack Developer and Chief Operating Officer (COO) at a tech startup. In this role, I combine technical expertise with leadership, which allows me to understand both how to build projects and how to guide people step by step toward their goals. As a tutor, I bring that same balance of clarity and support. My lessons are structured but flexible, designed to meet each student at their own level. I take pride in breaking down complex ideas into simple, approachable steps and ensuring that students feel confident after every session. My teaching method is step-by-step and hands-on. I explain concepts clearly, then guide students through examples before encouraging them to practice on their own. I also adapt my approach depending on the student - some need structured lessons, while others learn better through building projects.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of what we covered last time, followed by introducing a new concept with a simple example. We then apply that concept in practice, either through exercises or small projects, and I give feedback to make sure the student feels confident before moving forward.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my combination of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and real-world experience as a full-stack developer. I don’t just teach theory - I show students how coding is applied in real projects, which helps connect what they’re learning to real-world use cases.
My lessons are for middle school, high school, college students, and professionals who want to strengthen their skills in React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
