About Grace
I am a Grade 8 flautist with a passion for sharing the joy of music. Having performed in orchestras and small ensembles, I understand the excitement and discipline that come with learning an instrument. My tutoring experience has shown me how rewarding it is to help students grow in skill and confidence, whether they’re playing their very first notes or preparing for an advanced exam. I decided to teach because I want to inspire others to discover the beauty of the flute and the sense of achievement that comes with mastering it. My lessons are encouraging, patient, and tailored to each individual, ensuring students feel supported and motivated at every stage. I take pride in creating a welcoming environment where learners can develop their technique, build musical understanding, and enjoy every step of their journey.

I offer engaging and supportive flute lessons tailored to each student’s goals and learning style. My teaching combines clear, step-by-step instruction with fun, interactive exercises to help students develop strong technique, confident tone, and musical expression. I draw on my Grade 8 qualification, orchestral performance background, and tutoring experience to provide well-rounded lessons that cover reading music, rhythm, breath control, and performance skills. Lessons are typically 30 to 60 minutes, depending on age and level, and are suitable for complete beginners through to advanced players. I welcome students of all ages, whether you’re preparing for exams or just playing for pleasure. My aim is to make learning the flute enjoyable, encouraging progress while building each student’s confidence as a musician.
