About Ryan
I am a young adult attending the Crane School of Music in New York. I have played guitar and other instruments for about 13 years, and in that time have spent a somewhat ridiculous amount of time practicing. I have been playing instruments and singing for about 13 years, on academic and competitive levels. My other instruments include cello, violin, bass guitar, upright bass, viola, and piano. I am still learning just like everyone. Guitar is my most well rounded of my instruments and I participate in collegiate performing and am confident in my ability to teach even the most stubborn of people. I am developing skills to become an educator and I will not treat this as a chore. I am excited to get to know you and help you on your path to a solid music education. I am a college student and plan to become a professor of music, and would like to spend some more time teaching lessons and tutoring. I am very patient and will find a way to get you from your starting point to where you need to be. Everyone won't start in the same place, but I will meet you where you are, and help create a path to your goal. I am comfortable teaching absolute beginners in theory and guitar, as well as high school, and lower college level material. I am comfortable teaching any person of any age and will give you my best. Depending on the subject you'd like to learn, we can adapt different curriculums, but I am sure I can help with what you need.
