About Sarah
My career has been spent in music education and this has enabled me to quickly identify how to help you achieve your musical goals. I have also had a lot of experience in helping you to develop your musical confidence and this is one of the areas that I enjoy the most, helping you towards your musical dreams, whatever they may be. I enjoy teaching all age groups and have had experience teaching at all levels from early years up to adults of all ages. I am equally happy teaching in classical and popular styles of music and my day job keeps me up to date with current trends of music and musical learning.

I really love breaking down the building blocks of reading and performing music to help you to become a better player and to build your levels of confidence as a performer. I am equally happy to work on repertoire and learning goals of your choice and also to prepare you for all the elements of practical and music theory exams. I have experience of working with all age groups. I have worked in all levels of education from early years upwards as well as teaching and running workshops for adults. I teach from beginner to advanced levels. I have prepared students for exams up to diploma level. I teach lessons of 30 and 60 minute durations.
