About Drishya
I’m a high schooler with a strong passion for music, sports, and teaching. Before dedicating myself fully to piano, I was a competitive swimmer, which taught me discipline, patience, and how to stay focused under pressure. I’m also a black belt in karate- an achievement that reflects my determination, consistency, and respect for structured learning. Outside of music, I love playing volleyball and working as part of a team, which has helped me become more supportive, encouraging, and adaptable. These experiences shape the way I teach. I bring the same dedication, positivity, and work ethic to every lesson, and I always strive to make my students feel confident and motivated. Teaching is something I genuinely care about, and I’m committed to creating a friendly, professional, and inspiring learning environment for every student I work with.

I teach with a focus on solid technique, confidence, and musical expression, using my 10 years of piano experience to help students grow both technically and artistically. My lessons break concepts into clear steps, with demonstrations, warm-ups, review, and practical practice strategies. As an 11th grader, I connect easily with younger students and explain ideas in an encouraging, relatable way. These lessons are great for beginner to intermediate players, and I tailor every session to each student’s goals and pace.
