About Carlo
I have been teaching high school history and geography for over a decade. I started out in the conservation field and found myself working hard with little fulfillment. My degree in science allowed me to try out teaching. Within the first year of teaching I had realized my childhood dream: To make a real difference, a mark, on the world around me. Thinking about the people and space around us in new and more useful ways really is the world's only hope for freedom.

Lessons aim to include: practical science, current and historical case study, diverse and professional resources and a willingness to adapt to what is most relevant to, just about any, context or situation.
Young, English speaking, adults seeking challenge or curious perspective would enjoy the lesson most. Particularly those in high school or undergrad.
A lesson must come from an authentic connection between mentor and mentee. The student's inspired curiosity should motivate novel and critical thought. This is the goal of a lesson.
