About Robert
About Me and my History lessons
I became interested in history in junior high school. I graduated with a Master of Arts in History from California State University, Fullerton.
Prior to graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in English language and literature, I studied Mandarin Chinese at Nanjing University, China.
I started teaching history at a private high school in Guam, USA. In Guam, I taught U.S. and World History classes, some for advanced placement credit. For the past five years, I have been teaching history online.
Teaching is my true passion. Over the years, I developed my pedagogy in lesson planning and creation, teaching students at various ages and abilities, and using different teaching methods to facilitate higher levels of learning. And I strive to make history relevant to current affairs.
