About Kow
I have been teaching in international schools ever since I graduated from university. I had to self-learn the IGCSE syllabus and now I have taught it for more than 3 years. I am familiar with the new format for both checkpoint and IGCSE exams as I went for the online course that was done by Cambridge (I went on my own initiative to learn). I also bought a lot of materials and resources on my own to ensure there are always practice questions for the students to do each time we have lessons. I give a repertoire of writing and reading questions. I also ensure feedback is given each lesson so that students know where they can improve.

I make things simple. We do all our work in Google docs due to accessibility and user-friendly functions. I ensure a balance of skills are taught, mainly reading or writing (in both non-fiction & fiction). A lesson MUST be a minimum of 1 hour and a half. I have been tutoring for the past 3 years already (mostly online). I take any students from year 7 to year 11 (going to take their IGCSEs).
