About Luis
Hi! I’m Luis, a graphic designer and illustrator with more than 12 years of professional experience creating illustrations, characters, and visual designs for clients around the world.
I’ve always loved drawing, and over the years I’ve had the opportunity to not only create art professionally but also teach it. I’ve taught students in college settings, helping them explore traditional painting, sketching from references, and character creation. During the pandemic, I also worked one-on-one with a student online, adapting the same approach to a virtual environment.
I enjoy helping people discover that drawing is a skill they can actually learn and improve. You don’t have to be “naturally talented” to become a better artist—I believe that understanding the fundamentals, practicing consistently, and having someone guide you can make a huge difference.
Outside of teaching, I work with tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and I enjoy combining traditional drawing principles with digital techniques.
I’d love to help you become more confident with your art and have fun creating along the way.

My drawing and digital painting lessons are designed to help you improve your skills while having fun creating artwork you actually enjoy.
I teach students from beginner to intermediate levels, and lessons are personalized according to your experience and goals. Whether you want to learn how to sketch, draw from references, create characters, understand proportions, or explore digital painting, we can build the lessons around what you want to achieve.
During lessons, I combine demonstrations, guided practice, and personalized feedback. I explain the fundamentals in a simple way and show you how to apply them to your own drawings rather than just giving you exercises to copy.
Topics can include:
• Drawing fundamentals, shapes, forms, and proportions
• Sketching and drawing from references
• Character creation and design
• Light, shadow, and basic perspective
• Color and composition
• Digital painting techniques and workflow
• Improving and developing your own style
You don't need to be naturally talented or have years of experience. My goal is to give you practical tools, help you understand the fundamentals, and make you feel more confident with your art.
Lessons are available online, and I can adapt the pace and content to your needs.
