I give lessons to everyone without distinction of age or level. After teaching the basics (pronunciation, grammar, ...), I work on oral and written comprehension/expression by reading & listening to material & having debates about a theme that the student has interest in.
I am a language majoring exchange student at the University of Leeds. I used to teach French to international students back in France. I also teach French in Leeds as a language group leader and a language partner at the university.
I try to make classes fun and interesting. This is why I ask my students what kind of topics they are interested in. I use material related to those topics to work on variuos skills involved in learning a language (grammar, oral and witten comprehension/expression). I usually teach oral skills one week and reading the other week. I also always make sure that the student is enjoying and benefitting from the lessons. To do so, I give a little post-it note to my students every now and then so they can let me know whether they are enjoying the lessons or not, whether they want to change something or not.
I am easy-going and good at communicating with others. I am also organised and patient. I got to acquire these assets by teaching circus to children from a remote village back in middle school, and French since my first year of university

Maha taught me French back in France where I was an exchange student. Her lessons were interesting, we would read texts, listen to audio documents, watch scenes from movies, and answer questions about them. We would also have little debates about different topics. She asked me which themes I wanted to study on the first lesson and also what I was expecting from her classes, and made sure to stick to what I had told her. I improved a lot with her.
Maha is a great teacher. She really tries to offer fun and interesting lessons by using material that the student is interested in. She also works on various skills involved in learning a language (grammar, oral and written comprehension/expression, ...)
