About the lesson

My Approach as a Tutor

Teaching Method and Techniques: My teaching method combines thorough legal knowledge with adaptive pedagogical techniques. I use a variety of approaches, including Socratic questioning, case analysis, and practical exercises, to help students grasp complex legal concepts. I focus on active learning and critical thinking, encouraging students to apply principles to real-world scenarios.

Typical Lesson Plan: A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previous material to reinforce understanding. I then introduce new concepts, breaking them down into manageable parts and using examples to illustrate their application. We engage in interactive discussions and practice problems to solidify learning. At the end of each session, we review key takeaways and set goals for the next lesson.

What Sets Me Apart: What sets me apart is my dual expertise in law and education. My background from UC Hastings and my Master’s in Education allow me to present legal material in a clear, engaging manner tailored to individual learning styles. My sessions are customized to address each student’s unique needs and academic goals, providing personalized support that goes beyond traditional tutoring.

Who the Lessons Are For: My lessons are designed for law students at any level, from those preparing for the bar exam to those needing assistance with specific coursework or legal research. Whether you’re a first-year student struggling with foundational concepts or an advanced student looking for focused exam preparation, I offer targeted support to help you succeed.
