I am a mathematician who enjoys problem solving. I realized that some students are unfortunately poorly instructed at their schools with their mechanical problem solving, and such tedious routines loosened their ties to math. I believe everyone deserves a better math education which is based on understanding "how" and "why."

1. Concept Explanation - It is very important for a student to understand motivation of a concept before tackling a problem. My tutoring emphasizes "how" and "why," rather than "what to do."
2. Examples - Math cannot be studied alone by studying concepts itself. Numerous practices must be accompanied by concept explanations, and the tutor will demonstrate solving a few exercise problems.
3. Exercises - After exemplary demonstration, students will try exercises by themselves. Tutor will provide feedback to fill up missing gaps.
4. Homework - Students will master their skills by doing homework.
