About Terence
I am an experienced Maths teacher with more than 15 years experience teaching 11-18 age groups. I have degrees in Maths and Physics and can also offer Physics to GCSE level. I am able to tutor BTEC IT students , particularly those who are struggling with the Microsoft Access units

I have a relaxed teaching style, I plan my sessions using evidence based learning techniques such as "Active learning" and "Spaced Repitition". My Maths pedagogy is strongly influenced by the Dutch and Singapore methods and I approach a number of topics using the Bar Method as I feel this offers the student an alternative and more intuitive approach.
