About Jon
I am a self-taught mathematics and physics graduate with years of experience in personalised teaching. I offer a relaxed environment free of distractions where we can figure out how best to help you achieve your goals. For every hour spent with me, I will work that same time again (at least!) coming up with examples, questions and exam techniques specific to you. Outside of tutoring my hobbies include football, gaming and running a 3D printing business.

I have been teaching maths to others (and myself!) throughout my academic and professional life. I believe it is important to understand how an individual can best get to grips with a subject through explanations and examples specific to you. Paired with a targeted and systematic approach to passing exams, I will ensure that you or your child will leave each session more capable and confident in your chosen subject. I am available to teach GCSE, A-Level and first year degree mathematics and physics. I also teach further maths at A-Level. If you would like any other tuition in a STEM field, please do not hesitate to contact me for more information! I also offer mock interviews for university, feedback included. As for my own qualifications I have a double first in mathematics and physics, self-taught and awarded by The Open University. I plan to continue on for a PhD in cold atom physics in the near future.
