About Malachy
I'm from London, and have just graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a first class degree (75%) in Biotechnology. Qualifications: I attended King's College School Wimbledon (Times Independent School of the year) as a captain of house and academic scholar. At school I achieved 12 GCSEs with straight 9s, and 45 out of 45 in the International Baccalaureate (this grade is equivalent to 5 A stars). I am kind, friendly and keen to see students succeed and inspire them with the same love for STEM that I have. I am also a keen musician who plays the saxophone, piano and guitar. I have three grade 8s and a dipABRSM diploma, all with distinction. I have two younger brothers, and have spent over 5 years with children, coaching them tennis at my local courts.

I offer a flexible approach to teaching from a relatable and logical standpoint. As a recently finished student, I can offer targeted and sensible suggestions on study habits and exam technique, as well as helping with understanding of key concepts and important advice for meeting mark schemes and important points. My lessons usually last an hour, but this is flexible and dependent on the level of the student and the help they require. DBS checked with over 5 years' experience tutoring children of all levels and ages. Over 1200 lessons completed across all platforms!
