About Laura
Music has been my life and my purpose for a very long time, and I'm proud of the amount of knowledge I've gained along the way. I wish nothing more than to share that knowledge with whoever would like to learn! I pride myself on being easy to talk to and I can almost guarantee I'll give you a laugh or two. Learning doesn't have to be painful, and music is fun!

I am happy to work with students of any age, including elementary-aged children, teens, and adults. (I've done a little of everything!) I use a very individual approach, quickly figuring out what level my students reside in at the beginning then guiding them onward and upward from there. We are all unique and learn in different ways, so I teach accordingly! I am able to teach piano, ukulele/guitar, and my specialty, voice. Voice lessons can be coachings or regular, foundational lessons. A typical lesson includes a review of technique and warm-up exercises, then work on foundational skills, go over current repertoire, and touch on theory to ensure full comprehension.
