About Jenny
Hi! I’m a native Mandarin speaker from China and currently a Master’s student at the University of Sydney (USYD). I’ve always had a strong passion for language learning and teaching. Back home, I gained experience tutoring Chinese students, and now I want to help more people improve their Mandarin in a way that is both practical and enjoyable. I understand that every student has different goals—whether you want to improve your daily conversation skills, pronunciation, reading, or writing, I will tailor my lessons to suit your needs. If you're learning Mandarin for academic purposes, I can also help boost your Chinese writing, comprehension, and formal expressions. I have achieved high performance in my Chinese exams, so I can guide you in developing a stronger grasp of academic and professional Chinese, whether for exams, essays, or research purposes. I love teaching because I believe that language is more than just words—it’s a bridge to understanding a culture and connecting with people. Seeing my students gain confidence in Mandarin, whether for everyday use or academic excellence, is truly rewarding for me. If you're looking for a patient, supportive, and flexible tutor who can help you with both conversational and academic Chinese, feel free to reach out! Let’s make learning Mandarin both effective and enjoyable.
