About Saijanani
Hi! I am your teacher JANE here. I’m a passionate, patient, and caring tutor with experience teaching young children, especially at the preschool and early primary levels. I truly enjoy working with kids and helping them grow, learn, and build confidence in a fun and supportive environment.
I specialize in teaching Math, English, Malay, and Mandarin using interactive, child-friendly methods that make learning enjoyable and effective. I believe that every child learns differently, so I always tailor my lessons based on each student’s pace, strengths, and needs. My teaching style includes songs, storytelling, games, visual aids, and role-play activities to keep lessons engaging especially for language learning.
For English, I focus on phonics, reading, writing, and grammar to build a strong foundation. For Math, I guide students through basic numeracy, problem-solving, and key concepts using simple explanations and lots of practice. For Malay and Mandarin, I emphasize speaking, vocabulary building, and understanding through fun and practical activities. I have been learning Chinese from the age of 5 until 17, which allows me to teach Mandarin confidently and clearly to beginners.
My lessons are suitable for preschoolers, primary students (Standard 1–6), and beginners in any of these subjects. I aim to create a positive learning space where children feel comfortable, motivated, and excited to learn.
As a dedicated tutor, my goal is not just to teach, but to inspire a love for learning and help every child reach their full potential.

My teaching style is all about turning learning into a joyful experience, especially for young children. For every subject and as a Mandarin and preschool tutor, I create a warm, playful environment where kids feel excited to learn and confident to express themselves.
I believe children learn best through doing, so my lessons are filled with songs, storytelling, games, movement, and hands-on activities. For Mandarin, I focus on building a strong foundation in speaking, listening, and basic character recognition using repetition, visuals, daily conversations. This helps children naturally pick up the language in a stress-free way.
For preschool learners, I gently introduce early literacy, phonics, and numeracy through creative and engaging methods. I use flashcards, music, and interactive activities to keep lessons lively and attention-focused. Every session is carefully structured into short, fun segments to match the child’s energy and concentration level.
I also believe encouragement is key so I always use positive reinforcement to build confidence and motivate children. My lessons are personalized based on each child’s interests and learning style, making every class meaningful and enjoyable.
Lesson duration is typically 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the child’s focus and comfort. With my experience teaching young learners and my strong background in Mandarin, I aim to not only teach but inspire a love for learning that lasts.
