About Annabel
Hi! I’m Annabel, and I’m passionate about making science accessible, engaging, and relevant for everyone. I hold a PhD in behavioral ecology and a Master’s in Environmental Biology, and while my research has focused on bats, ecology, and conservation, my scientific training spans a wide range of disciplines—including biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, statistics, and scientific writing. Over the years, I’ve learned how powerful it is to truly understand the foundations of science—whether that’s interpreting data, designing experiments, or simply making sense of the world around us. Through tutoring, I love helping others develop that same confidence and curiosity, no matter their background or level of study. Science can feel overwhelming at times, but my goal is always to break things down into clear, manageable steps tailored to your learning style. Annabel is the perfect tutor - not only does she absolutely know her stuff (she has a doctorate in Biology after all) but she’s kind and patient enough to explain (and re-explain) things in ways that make sense.
