About Dr Feryal
Hello, I'm Faryal, a PhD graduate in Molecular Biosciences, Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), and experienced educator with a passion for helping students achieve their academic goals.
Over the years, I have taught and supported students from primary school through to university level, including GCSE, A-Level, foundation year, and undergraduate courses. My experience includes tutoring, university teaching, mentoring, curriculum development, and supporting learners with a wide range of abilities and learning styles.
I believe that every student can succeed with the right guidance, encouragement, and teaching approach. I aim to make learning enjoyable, build confidence, and help students develop a genuine understanding of their subjects rather than simply memorising information.

I hold a PhD in Molecular Biosciences and am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), with experience teaching and mentoring students from primary school through to university level. I teach Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics across primary, secondary, GCSE, A-Level, foundation year, and undergraduate levels.
My teaching approach focuses on clear explanations, interactive learning, problem-solving, and regular feedback. I adapt lessons to suit each student's pace and learning style, creating a friendly and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence.
