About Oran

Hi, I’m Oran, a passionate musician and piano teacher with a degree in Music and Grade 8 piano. I have experience teaching piano to students of different ages and abilities, and I really enjoy helping people discover the enjoyment and creativity that comes with playing an instrument.

Alongside teaching piano, I am a qualified Music Therapist, which has given me valuable experience working with people from a range of backgrounds and adapting my approach to suit each individual.

I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I believe lessons should be enjoyable as well as productive. Whether you want to learn your favourite songs, develop your technique, work towards an exam or simply learn piano as a hobby, I’m happy to work with you towards your goals.

About the lesson

My piano lessons are relaxed, friendly and tailored to each student’s individual goals and interests. Whether you are a complete beginner, returning to piano after a break, or looking to develop your existing skills, I can help you build confidence and enjoy playing.

Lessons can include learning songs you love, developing piano technique, reading music, music theory, chords, improvisation, playing by ear and preparing for graded examinations. I’m happy to adapt lessons around the type of music you enjoy, whether that’s classical, contemporary or something completely different.

I have a degree in music, a master’s in music therapy, Grade 8 piano and experience teaching students of different ages and abilities. My aim is to create an encouraging environment where you can progress at your own pace while developing skills that you can enjoy for years to come.
