About Jasmin
I am a highly qualified piano teacher working in London and online. I have experience working with all ages and abilities and bring a very positive and warm approach to lessons.
My musical background is classical - I started learning the piano when I was 6 and continued at Chetham’s School of Music when I was 16. My qualifications include completing the Joint Honours Degree from the Royal Northern College of Music and the University of Manchester and I am currently studying for an MMus in piano performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.
I am flexible and open to each individual's needs, keeping their personal goals and aspirations at the forefront of my teaching. I am also happy to prepare students for exams (ABRSM, LCM, TRINITY, grades 1-8 and diplomas).
I have taught both in Manchester, (as the official piano teacher of Forsyths Music Shop and at the Royal Northern College of Music as part of the Pedagogy programme) and London as a private teacher with children and adults and have also worked for several music programmes including the Benedetti Foundation and Oasby Music Group leading workshops and chamber music sessions for children.
I am also an active performer, both as a solo pianist and as part of several chamber ensembles. I have performed widely across the UK and in Europe in venues such as the Wigmore Hall, King's Place, the Bridgewater Hall and Teatro Pergolesi in North Italy.
I believe that everybody is innately musical and deserves a chance to discover their creative potential. This is why I aim to make lessons as fun and engaging as possible in order to guide each student on their own musical journey.

Creativity through learning is the best way to approach any instrument. I focus on developing well rounded musicians by providing each student with a secure foundation from which to build the skills needed to become an accomplished pianist, both musically and technically.
I always plan each lesson tailored to suit the individual, getting the most out of my students at a pace that suits them. My lessons take a concept based approach and incorporate a wide variety of skills such as reading, improvisation, technique and theory.
I bring a very positive and friendly approach to my teaching because I believe this is the best way to encourage open and honest interaction. Whether you are beginning lessons for the first time, or you’re returning to the piano please do get in touch, I’d love to hear from you!
